MASSAGE THERAPY

Massage Therapy is the mobilization of muscles and joints to optimize your health, to prevent and/or reduce physical discomfort, and to improve body function.

At Anatomy Physiotherapy Clinic, a Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) will help you achieve your own personal goals by outlining a treatment plan specifically tailored to your individual needs. Such a plan might include a set schedule of massage treatments, specific exercises aimed at correcting muscular imbalances, and outcome measures to monitor your progress.

The following is a list of conditions or types of injuries that could be managed effectively through Massage Therapy:

  • Muscle spasms or strains

  • Sprains

  • Sports injuries

  • Degenerative disc disease

  • Arthritis

  • Tension headaches

  • Post-operative conditions

  • Motor Vehicle Accident (MVA) injuries - e.g. whiplash

  • Pregnancy (pre-natal) related pains & conditions

Massage Therapy also has a wide range of benefits to overall health, which include (but are not limited to):
